Children

The church will only be as strong as its next generation of leaders. For that reason we seek to invest in the lives of our children and ground them in the faith.

During the preaching time of our Sunday morning worship service, our children age 4 through 3rd grade meet together for a time of Bible instruction.

Meeting every Sunday night after the evening service until 7:30 p.m., Children’s Choir helps our kids grow musically and spiritually by learning biblical truth in song. They also minister occasionally in our services.

Heritage Baptist Church hosts a themed Vacation Bible School nearly every summer and uses it as another venue in which to teach the gospel to children.

Teens

The youth group of Heritage Baptist Church exists to mature disciples of Jesus Christ. We encourage those in our church body in grades 7 – 12 to join us for regularly scheduled activities and Bible study. Pastor Andrew and Colleen French oversee Youth Group and strongly desire that our teens grow in their likeness to Christ.

French_2015.JPGOur youth ministry seeks to develop Christian teens mentally, socially, physically and spiritually. Accordingly, our more recreational activities fall under the goal of that development. Further, as Christians in our church body, teen-age believers have gifts and abilities that are to be used for the benefit of their brothers and sisters in Christ. Our youth ministry seeks to cultivate that Christ-like thinking and acting in each of our teens and does so through service-oriented activities. In all of our times together, we seek to be centered on biblical instruction and life application.

We typically meet regularly for Bible study every other Wednesday night. The dates for group activities can be found on the church calendar.
